A poem about Alice's World
In the darkness
there does lerk,
and invisible cat
with an evil smerk.
Upon a mushroom
there lies a bug.
An ever high caripillar,
always wanting a hug.
In the garden
the Mad Hatter sips tea.
Along side the March Hair,
and Alice makes three.
In the Royal Garden
the Queen plays crochet.
"OFF WITH HER HEAD!"
Are the beloved words say does say.
I can't stand this feeling inside
The feeling you get when your starting to cry
A wrench in my gut
A tear at my eye
I won't say I don't love you
But I won't say that I do…
My heart aches for you
Sometimes I can hear it cry…
And I am helpless
Needing love like nothing before
Though I know you have found your love
I still yearn for your kiss, your hug
But I will watch as you grow
Happy and in love
My wish for you…though it kills me so
Is for you to love…
…and be loved in return…
